Creating Your Virtual Classroom |
There are two main parts to the Virtual Classroom screen. On the left is the web-module and on the right is your virtual classroom homepage. Each module is web friendly and promotes an experiential learning approach to classroom material. It lets student apply important concepts to current market data available on the Web. Areas covered are fixed income, equities and derivatives. You create this virtual classroom in two easy steps. Step 1: Log into your Virtual Classroom Homepage as a moderator. Step 2: With moderator access you have complete control over the text displayed and the set of links you provide to your students. As a result, all your personal course material remains on your server, under your control. Major Advantages of the FTS Modules and Homepage
The real world market place now becomes your living textbook. By using the web based modules students can learn to solve real world problems anywhere anytime. Each module is web friendly and is designed to let students “learn by doing.” You can immediately host your own private course forum. This lets you and the students share resources and knowledge throughout the course. You are in control of the active learning exercises. This is because you control the set of links available to your students on the homepage. |
