History
The program keeps track of everything you did in a trading session: what you bought or sold, dividends, stock splits, mark to market, delete a security, etc. If you do not perform any activity but simply want to record the market value of your portfolio, select “Mark Portfolio to Market” from the Securities Menu.
You can view the history from the View menu, which brings up the history display, shown below.

The market value is adjusted for the bid-ask spread.
Important notes:
· You should save the session history (and also your portfolio) periodically, definitely at the end of a session. If you quit the program without saving, the data cannot be recovered.
· When you save the session history in a file, the program adds the session history to the end of the file. This means that once you save the history to a file, you should clear the session history (from the Edit menu of the history window). Otherwise, when you save it again, it will re-save what you have already saved.
· You can copy/paste the history and save it in a spreadsheet; this makes analysis of your trades easier.
· You can read in previously saved history and also merge the current session history with the previous history.
· Finally, the program has a utility which tabulates the last recorded market value every day, which you can do from the Edit menu of the Previous History window, as shown here:
